Volunteer with Green Thumbs

Join our monthly volunteer events to restore disturbed public lands on the San Bernardino National Forest. The US Forest Service and the Southern California Mountains Foundation partner to give you more opportunities to collect seed, plant natives, mulch, weed, water, pick up trash, remove graffiti, install barriers, and work in our native plant nurseries.

We work in all areas of the Forest from the Cajon Pass to Lake Arrowhead/Big Bear. Including high desert forest sites and the San Jacinto District of the SBNF.

Help us restore native wildlife habitat, protect watersheds, and improve wildfire resilience! Pre-registration is required as space can be limited.

For additional information on how to sign up for these events, reach out to Lisa at lunderwood@mountainsfoundation.org.
