Congratulations Corpsmembers of the Month

Congratulations to SCMF’s Corpsmembers of the month of March!
Angelica Welch is currently an educator on our Naturalist crew, consistently demonstrates versatility, dedication, and a willingness to take on. Angelica says, “I am 25 years old. I am originally from New Jersey, but I currently reside in Redlands, CA. I enjoy learning about the environment, and the Corps has helped me develop my communication skills. Others should join to gain hands-on work experience while enjoying nature. I’ve had the opportunity to meet many different corpsmembers from diverse backgrounds, and each person has taught me something new. I am grateful for the chance to share experiences with my fellow corpsmembers.” Congratulations, Angelica, and thank you for your hard work and dedication!
The next Corpsmember of the month is Jonathon Galaviz. He has been with us for a short period of time and is doing a great job! Here’s a little bit from Jonathon, “I am 19 years old from Coachella. I have been with the UCC for about a month and a half. I enjoy working with my hands. Others should join because it’s an opportunity to learn. I enjoy working with other Corpsmembers, everyone I work with makes the work fun. The advice I would give new Corpsmembers or people thinking about joining is, take all the opportunities given. The UCC has helped me break out of my shell.”
Thank you so much to each crew and Corpsmember from the Southern California Mountains Foundation! We are so proud of you and grateful for all of the amazing work you do within nature and the community!!
