Traveling Education Exhibit

This traveling exhibit educates the community on recycling practices.

The Conservation Corps Mobile Recycling Exhibit is a mobile installation created to provide education about recycling best practices and the Corps mission, to youth in schools and Inland Empire community members of all backgrounds and cultures.

The full-color panoramic displays depict Southern California wilderness with various native plants and animals, visitors engaged in several types of responsible recreation, and Corpsmembers demonstrating recycling best practices. Schools can schedule a visit from the Recycling Education Mobile Exhibit to give students a chance to learn more about the benefits of recycling through a fun and interactive program. Inside is a bilingual walk-through exhibit. Walls are wrapped in art for an immersive educational experience. Imagery and messaging guide visitors through an entire day of recycling. Tactile elements displayed alongside the exhibit include “lift-up windows” that encourage visitors to interact with the information through self-discovery.
