Join us in celebrating our September Corpsmembers of the Month!

Each month, we honor Corpsmembers who show dedication, growth, and teamwork in the field. For September, we’re proud to highlight two incredible individuals from our Coachella Valley and San Bernardino crews!

Coachella Valley – Julian Morales-Mora
Julian, 20, from Coachella, has been part of the UCC for just one month and is already standing out for his enthusiasm and willingness to learn. He says, “I’ve learned many skills and enjoy it very much!” Julian values the connections he’s made and encourages others to join for the opportunities and relationships UCC offers. His advice to newcomers? “Don’t sit around or stand around.” Julian adds, “I’ve learned many useful things and met amazing people.”

San Bernardino – Delone Burton
Delone, 18, from San Bernardino, has been with the UCC for five months and takes pride in giving back to the community through his work. “I enjoy working within cities to help benefit our communities,” he shares. He encourages others to join “to gain experience in forestry work,” and describes the UCC as “a brotherhood” when it comes to teamwork and camaraderie.
