Recycling on the Big Stage
The Southern California Mountains Foundation’s Urban Conservation Corps supported recycling efforts at Coachella and Stagecoach, helping divert over 69,035 tons of plastics, aluminum, and other materials from landfills, keeping the living desert ecosystem healthy. These partnerships not only benefit the environment, and community, but also provide Corpsmembers with valuable job experience and education in conservation and sustainability through large-scale projects.
