Join one of our naturalists at the Baldwin Lake Ecological Reserve to make your very own pinecone birdfeeder! Take it home and watch your backyard birds stop by for a treat.  The Ecological Reserve is located on the north end of Baldwin Lake on Highway 18, (weather dependent). Free!

We believe a solid foundation in forest ecological principals and environmental stewardship helps students appreciate the natural world.

The Discovery Center and the National Children’s Forest offer programs on a request basis only.  Please email info@mountainsfoundation.org to request a school visit or private program to either site. Programs are available Monday, Thursdays & Fridays and fees may apply.
