UCCIE is Ready to Help

Community support is core to our mission. Together we have monitored the novel coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis and its increasingly severe effects on our daily lives and communities. We at the Inland Empire Conservation Corps (UCCIE) fully appreciate how inundated your offices are navigating questions from constituents and finding solutions to keep your community safe and operating. As your non-profit partner, conservation corps around the state are responding and are ready to assist cities and counties across California as they grapple with COVID-19.

We have resources, equipment, and trained staff ready to work and can be on the front lines, helping your community prepare for and respond to crises and natural disasters. Our crews work alongside local, regional, and state partners to deliver swift and effective solutions when it matters most. Our young staff are ready to serve their communities out of our sites in San Bernardino and Indio. We are taking all precautions as detailed by the CDC and local health agencies for the protection of all our staff, sites, offices, and community members.

Examples of opportunities for UCCIE to support community response include:

  • Water & Food Delivery
  • Meal Delivery for Homebound or Quarantined
  • Set-up & Tear-down for Emergency Centers
  • Supply Delivery
  • Recycling & Trash Management
  • Language, Translation, and Communication

UCCIE is state-certified and able to contract directly via the California Emergency Services Act with the Office of Emergency Services.

We know the Inland Empire communities intimately and can assist partners to engage effectively. Should your agency need any assistance, please know, we are available and ready.
