Join Laura Tovar, author and singer, for an entertaining evening program singing campfire songs in the San Bernardino National Forest.  Sponsored by California Land Management.  Suggested donation $5.

Gold Panning

Come learn how to pan for gold!  Children will learn the process of gold panning, using real panning equipment.  The "gold" is pyrite, and children can take home their findings along with an informational handout and a certificate!  Fee: $3

Nature Walks

Join us for a 45 minute walk to learn about the local plant life, wildlife, and some very interesting historical facts.  This is a great activity for families and individuals who want to gain a greater appreciation of our National Forest.  Nature walks are not strenuous and designed for all levels of physical conditioning.  Free!

Come join our interpretive staff for Campfire Presentations at the Dogwood amphitheater. Presentations vary between interactive skits and educational programs. Our skits allow the audience to become part of the show and help to educate the crowd! Educational programs are fun talks that help visitors to better understand wildlife found in our mountains.
